I recently purchased a Ninja blender, and I’m having a TON of fun experimenting with it. One of my recent lab sessions resulted in this delicious, energy boosting green smoothie. It’s perfect for an on the go breakfast or afternoon snack. The recipe makes 3-4 servings – if you plan on preparing it in advance, just pop it in the freezer until you’re ready to drink it.


  • 1 cup water
  • 6-8 ice cubes
  • 1/2 head of romaine lettuce
  • 1 small bunch of Kale
  • 2 cups of spinach
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • 1 banana
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp Honey

Make sure you core both the apple & the pear, and chop your ingredients. Throw all of the ingredients in the blender & blend until smooth.
