Annnd it’s jumpsuit season! I’m SUCH a sucker for a good jumpsuit – exhibit A – mainly because they’re just so damn easy. One piece, one outfit. DONE. I’ve noticed, though, that I feel kind of basic when wearing a simple jumpsuit. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I get the hunch that something is missing – layers, accessories, a little sumthin sumthin.
I picked up this vintage Prada ribbed jumpsuit in LA a couple weeks back, and despite the pretty detailing (check the flared bottoms – so cute!), it still needed to be spruced up. Here are a few things I did to make my look a tad more interesting…

layered a tied silk blouse over it.
This silk blouse was one of my best purchases in life by FAR. It was a Salvation Army find, a men’s silk shirt from probably the late 80s/early 90s, all for $7. Maybe even $5. I’ve worn it tucked in, belted, and tied before, and here I wear it tied again but slightly off-shoulder for an effortless vibe. I like that it both dressed down the jumpsuit and made it more summery…despite the jumpsuit being ribbed wool.
stepped up my shoe game.
I’ve had these shoes for ten years maybe. I remember I was a recent college grad and took a family trip to Cali (funny that two elements of my outfit were purchased in Cali!), and we were all shopping at Bloomie’s when I found these on the sale rack for under $50. I’ve gone back & forth over the years on whether or not to keep them, and I’m so glad I held on to them! They have hippie/tribal vibes that are having a major moment rn. I love that they played on the neutrals look but added a touch of character.
added some gold dainty jewels.
I bought these coin necklaces on Etsy a few weeks back and they haven’t left my neck since. I’ve been on the hunt for a coin necklace for some time, and finally pulled the trigger on these and am so happy I did! They’re the perfect addition to a simple, neutral look. To up level it further, I added in my go-to gold hoops.
