1DIPTYQUE CANDLE DUO

I was recently gifted this set by Diptyque, and let me tell you, I’ve been burning these bad boys ever since. This is the first time I’ve ever tried this concept of burning two different fragrances at once, and I’m never turning back. I set up each candle on opposite ends of the room, and they blend perfectly in the center. The’re on the pricier end, so not something I necessarily would buy for myself, which is why they make the perfect gift for Mom!

2FUNCTION OF BEAUTY: SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER

function of beauty shampoo & conditioner

I’ve been using this shampoo & conditioner myself for a few years now, and it’s changed my hair completely. In fact, I’d say this stuff is KEY to my defined curls. I’ve included it in my holiday gift guide, my monthly favorites round ups…I legit can’t get enough. Basically, it’s shampoo & conditioner that is customized for your hair type. For gifting purposes, you buy a gift card, the recipient heads to the site and fills out a quick hair quiz…and BOOM. Custom formula made. It’s magical.

3THE LAST LINE LA: SIGNET RING

Last Line LA Gold Signet Ring

Another item I’ve featured beforethis gold signet is the PERFECT GIFT. I was gifted this piece for Christmas, and it hasn’t left my finger since. The Last Line LA has a collection of colorful & fun fine jewelry pieces that are actually affordable. If you’re looking to splurge in a nice jewelry item for Mom, definitely worth checking this shop out. Guaranteed she won’t have anything they offer in her jewelry box.

4LIFE IS GOOD: COZY SOCKS

Don’t judge me, but I have four pairs of these socks. In fact, I’m wearing them at this exact moment. They’re my go-to for when I’m lounging around the house (since I’m more of a cozy sock vs. slipper kind of girl). I’ve tried many variations of cozy socks, and Life is Good makes the best ones IMO. They even have Mother’s Day THEMED ONES!! The best part? They’re only $10 a pair.

5EMINENCE ORGANICS SKINCARE

Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum

What woman wouldn’t want skincare as a gift?! And CLEAN skincare?! Eminence Organics is one of my all time favorite clean skincare brands – you’ve probably seen it make an appearance in my daily skincare routine.

I started with the Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum, and have now discovered other favorites…including the Bamboo Firming Fluid, and the Stone Crop Whip Moisturizer. I’ve got my mom hooked (she’s been on a clean beauty binge lately), and I’m sure your mom will love it too!

6DAVID’S TEA: GIFT SETS & MORE

The ideal gift for the tea drinker (& another one I’ve gotten my mom, admittedly more than once). If your mom is adventurous in terms of tea flavors, David’s Tea is the place to go. They have this amazing collection of dessert teas (I’ve used them as a way to get my sugar fix on frequent occasions). On top of the variety of flavors, they do well curated mixes of teas for gifting purposes. That way, Mom can try out a BUNCH of teas, and figure out which ones she wants to go all in on the next time.

7SHUTTERFLY PHOTO BOOK

If you’ve recently gone on a trip with Mom and documented it with a series of selfies and embarrassing photos, definitely go with a photo book! I used to get these super high quality photo books from this place called MyPublisher, and they were bought out by Shutterfly. Sad…BUT, Shutterfly maintained the quality of the MyPublisher books. You just have to make sure you go to the right place (because the volume of options is seriously overwhelming – how many f*cking ways can you slice & dice a photo book?!). I recommend getting the glossy pages that fold flat. It will not disappoint!

8ORCHIDS: THE BEST KIND OF FLOWERS TO GIFT

I’m sure you’re thinking, no sh*t…flowers for Mother’s Day?! Yes yes, I agree…HOWEVER…I specifically am recommending ORCHIDS vs. the standard bouquet. Why? Because Mom will appreciate the flowers for months to come vs. seeing them wither away in 7-10 days. Leo got me orchids for Valentine’s Day, and they’re still in bloom and looking better than ever. You just have to find their sweet spot (filtered light) and don’t over water (about once a week seems to work perfectly).

9EMBER HEATED MUG

Ember Temperature Control Ceramic Mug

Don’t judge me on this, I got this as a gift myself. Ember is a heated mug – and it does exactly what the name implies. It keeps your hot beverages HOT. That’s right, it’s a heater & a mug in one. Very much extra, but I’m not saying no if someone’s gifting me this thing. It definitely works, but does have a few drawbacks (i.e. needs to be hand washed & charged). BUT, if you’re mom is big on hot beverages and / or a slow drinker, give this thing a shot.

10WEST ELM: DAPPER ANIMAL SALAD PLATES

west elm dapper plates

I feel like I can’t talk about these plates ever again after this, because I’ve legit included them on every effing holiday list, gift guide, favorites roundup. They’re SO DAMN CUTE…I just can’t help myself. Here’s the scoop – West Elm has this collab with designer Rachel Kozlowski, and she takes these animal portraits and accessorizes / dresses them up for the current season. We have approximately 15 of these currently, and I’ve had to restrain Leo from buying more (because they’re always releasing new ones!). Such a cute gift idea for anyone, especially Mom. PS – even though they’re identified as “salad” plates, we use them for pretty much everything.
