It’s been a busy week or so over here, so apologies for lack of posts. I promise there is a lot of good stuff to come!
Had a hectic weekend spending time with family and getting things done around the house. I have two trips coming up in the near future that I’m preparing for, one of which is San Francisco next week and the other is Peru. Yes, that’s right, Peru. I’m going to hike the Inca trail with my mom…not exactly my cup of tea but it will be a once in a lifetime experience (at least I hope so, this camping business better be worth it). My mom is a regular hiker, so I’m tagging along this time. She’s been calling several times a week, reminding me of all the items I need to purchase for this trip. One thing I’ve learned is hiking gear is an investment – had to buy a pair of hiking boots that cost me $170!
Anyway, since the hiking gear is eating up a good chunk of my disposable income, I haven’t had the chance to shop as much as I’d like lately, but these are the items I have my eye on:
