With the warmer weather, I’ve started to get more regular with my manicures. Now that I’m not wearing gloves everywhere I go, my nails are on display – so they better look good! I’ve shifted away from the darker shades the last couple of weeks, and have gravitated to more pastels and nudes. To prepare you for your future manis, here are spring’s hottest nail trends based on what I’m seeing in the latest fashion mags & runway photos:
Negative Space Nails: making its initial appearance at NYFW Spring 2014, this nail trend gives off the illusion that polish designs are floating on a naked nail bed. The options with this are limitless, and you can get really creative with the graphics.
Pastels & Nude Colors: this is a trend we’ve been seeing for quite some time now. Muted colors & natural tones are here to stay this season – especially stones, melons & whites.
Vibrant, unique colors: bold colors like cobalt, copper & teal have also made several appearances on the runway.
