You’ve seen me in monochrome before, you’ve heard me rant about denim jackets…this outfit encompasses all of the things I’ve been loving with additional flair. All shades of red, mashed up into one look. I’m really really into pink lately (I never thought those words would come out of my mouth…like, who am I?!), especially against maroon. I associate maroon/burgundy with menswear (I don’t know why, but that’s how my brain works), and the pink offsets it nicely by adding a feminine touch. To throw things off even further, I added a bright red clutch. All different shades of red that don’t exactly match, but somehow jive.
Another recent obsession? Experimenting with bobby pins. My hair was too damn long (FYI – I chopped it!), so I was trying to be a creative when styling it. I’ve grown tired of the same old curly look…good news is, problem is solved now! Can’t wait to style my new locks.
