It was 4pm Sunday and I realized I had yet to leave the house. No, this isn’t a normal occurrence…and yes, I felt guilty about it. You know what inspired me to get my butt off the couch? These pants. These wild, exuberant pants.

I had some errands to run, so I wanted to be comfy but still look somewhat pulled together. It’s a no brainer that you HAVE to look stylish when checking out at the 15 items or less line at the grocery store. Oh yeah, I went there. These pick-me-up pants made an appearance in both the cereal isle and the frozen goods isle. And mayyyybe even the snack isle…

I bought these pants last summer and hadn’t yet debuted them this season so it was time. They’re pretty form-fitting so, with comfort in mind, I rocked them with this long kimono-styled denim jacket – except I wore it as a shirt (#versatilitybaby). Since I had already unleashed the crazy, I took it even further and wore my orange shades. This outfit could have easily been worn on a night out, but paired with my white sneaks, it was just what I needed for Sunday afternoon errands.

To finish it off, I accessorized with my navy vintage Gucci. This bag was one of my lucky eBay finds. Love love love.

PS – this is has been my go-to lazy girl hair style lately. It’s so easy yet looks deceivingly time-consuming. Maybe I’ll do a tutorial soon 🙂
