I stopped at Lou & Grey last week as they were featuring pop-up shop, Coast by Coast. The pop up shop was mainly comprised of beachwear & swimsuits. However, they weren’t your typical swimsuits. They were unique, high quality, and of course, came with a hefty price tag. The most memorable brand they featured was Basta Surf. I have issues finding suits that fit me properly, mainly because I have a large bust and need all of the support I can get. I found these suits surprisingly supportive, flattering, and incredibly versatile as all of them are reversible! In my mind, you’re sort of getting two suits in one…soooo that justifies the price…right?

I’m usually minimalist when it comes to swimsuits – I stick with solids and simple cuts. I appreciate that these suits fall into my style category, but add an element of surprise with each piece. Whether it’s the color combination, a touch of neon in an otherwise neutral suit, unique strap designs – they really stand out in the crowd. Here are some suits I’m crushin’ on currently.Basta Surf

  1. Zunzal Reversible Bungee Bralette & Bottoms (Gray Malin inspired)
  2. Bondi Reversible Bungee Bralette & Bottoms
  3. Tamir Reversible One-Piece
  4. Mokiki Reversible Bungee One-Piece
  5. Popoyo Reversible Bungee High Neck Bikini Top
  6. Raglan Reversible String Triangle Bikini Top & Bottom
