This horoscope app officially has me HOOKED. Hear me out here (because I wasn’t one for horoscopes either!) – this is different & better than the horoscopes you’re getting anywhere else. Why? Because they use NASA DATA to share insights about your personality & your future. It all starts with building out your natal chart…which requires you to know your exact birth time…so text your mom STAT and either download the app or sign up for the weekly newsletter.
Truth be told – I don’t actually own this thing (it’s not even avail until November 2018), but I do find the concept intriguing. I mean…who wouldn’t want to be woken up by their favorite scent every AM? I’d take the smell of coffee over the sound of my alarm ANY DAY.
I was gifted this eyeliner in the Psychedelic Sister and Chaos (both such gorgeous colors!) and I think it just may be my fav new addition to the makeup drawer. It goes on SO smooth, is incredibly easy to apply and comes in almost 40 colors. I’m obsessed.
A few years back, I got sucked into the vortex of Koko on YouTube. FYI – she’s the gorilla who can communicate with humans through sign language. I’m for real…and if you don’t believe me, you should check out her Netflix documentary. You’ll fall for her too. Through sign language, she expresses love, sadness, friendship, silliness, and potentially the most incredible (& heartbreaking) of all…her desire to be a mother. She passed away this month at the age of 46. If you don’t know her story yet, get acquainted. You’ll thank me later.
Never let your phone overheat in the sun again…or freeze for that matter (if sitting out in the cold is your thang – I can’t relate). This thermal pouch prevents your phone from overheating/freezing in extreme temps, so you have one less thing to stress about! Up until this point, I’ve been wrapping my phone in towels and bathing suit covers ups, so this is definitely an upgrade. It ALSO preserves battery life and floats, in case you’re super adventurous (or clumsy).
Soooo I’ve talked about how Leo has got me on the PS4, successfully, with games like The Inside. Well, we recently tested out Jackbox Games with a group of friends and it was SO MUCH FUN. Basically, you can use your game console (I THINK it works for others outside of the PS4) to run a digital group game. Everyone syncs up via their controller aka their cell phone. There are different games in the pack, buy my favorite is Quiplash (it’s kind of like Cards Against Humanity but BETTER because you come up with your answer instead of choosing from existing ones!).
YEAH BABY. I’m bringing these bad boys back. It’s about TIME. HAHA JK…I feel like I was just wearing these yesterday but like, I’m still bringing them “back”. I rocked the hell out of the accordion headbands in junior high & high school, so I was pumped when I saw them on the runways recently. AND (hint hint) you may see them featured in my next YouTube video ;).
8TRADER JOE’S FRUIT & VEGGIE WASH
Real talk, my mom is the one that got me on this. She kind of scolded me for only washing my fruit & veggies with water, so we picked up this fruit & vegetable wash from Trader Joe’s and it has been life changing. Once you see the filth that comes off the stuff you’re eating, you’ll never NOT use it.
A band I’m “crushing” on MAJOR lately. Their latest single, Crush, has been playing repeatedly on Spotify. This song is the one that got me hooked. I’m seeing them at a Lolla after party in August and CAN’T WAIT!
10SUSAN ALEXANDRA…EVERYTHING.
This name probably rings a bell since I featured it in my “Brands You Should Know About” post, but clearly, I’m really into Susan. What can I say? Her bags take me back to grade school…sighhh the 90s. I ordered these earrings from her collection and they’re being made as we speak. I’ve been counting down the days to when they’ll be in my possession and on my ear lobes. T-10 days? 10 days. Let’s go with that.
